Growing up, I hated that my birthday landed in January. Seriously? Of all months? I never got to have a birthday pool party like my friends and it stunk. Then again, I wasn't a swimmer so I don't know why it mattered but I was a kid so there you go.
Fast forward to the present.
I hate summer.
I hate the sun.
I hate sweating.
Not a fan of swimming either.
(Sorry for all the summer lovers).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE WINTER.
I love the cold, wearing sweaters, Christmas, hot chocolate, all the twinkly lights, cozy fires and holiday movie reruns. I love every second of it.
So, as you've probably guessed, I'm dying right now. It's currently in the high 90s and it feels like death. A slow, painful, excruciating death. The only thing getting me through this summer is music. And lots of it. (Also, smoothie bowls but that's besides the point).
Here's my Summer 2018 playlist, featuring CHVRCHES, William Fitzsimmons and Peter and Kerry. I'll keep adding to it through the season, so keep your eyes peeled. (Just realized that saying is kind of gross. Why do people say that. Ew).
