the ultimate guide to fall diffuser blends

I don’t know about you guys, but September 1 officially marks the beginning of fall for me. (Also, I may or may not be playing Christmas music already 🤫)

Every year around this time, fall candles line the shelves and people swarm to get the comforting smell of autumn and all things pumpkin spice into their homes (I know, I used to be one of them). Candles, plug-ins, room sprays — they're all decked out with fall scents this time of year.

But these options are emitting harsh chemicals into our homes through the wicks and the ever-ominous term "fragrance."

Did you know there’s a healthier alternative?

You can get these fall smells without harming your health by diffusing! Young Living has a great selection of pure essential oils to get your home smelling like a pumpkin patch this fall. Plus, you're getting that real orchard smell from oils distilled from plants themselves and inhaling health benefits while you're at it!

Here are 25 of my favorite diffuser blends for fall!

diy sea salt spray

You know that scene in “The Little Mermaid” when Ariel is on the rock singing the “Part of Your World” reprise and the waves are all 🌊🌊 and her red hair is all 🧜🏻‍♀️🧜🏻‍♀️ and beachy wave perfection? I’m gonna call this diy the Ariel-Hair-On-Rock-During-Part-Of-Your-World-Reprise spray (AHORDPOYWR spray, if you will).

you’ll need —

+ 2-oz glass spray bottle (if you use a bigger one, just adjust accordingly)
+ warm water
+ 1/2 tbsp sea salt
+ 1/4 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil (make sure it’s fractionated and not regular coconut oil — super important!)
+ 5 drops lavender essential oil
+ 5 drops cedarwood essential oil

I N S T R U C T I O N S —

Fill the glass spray bottle with warm water until it’s almost to the top (but leave a little room for the oils). Add the sea salt and shake until the salt is dissolved. Add the oils and shake it up again. Spritz on your hair after you shower and then scrunch it all up to bring out your hair’s natural texture. I’d recommend shaking it up before each use to make sure all the oils are incorporated 👍🏼👍🏼

I love this little diy so much because it lets me be done with my hair super quick, it makes my hair smell AHHHMAZING and it also makes it super soft! Lavender and Cedarwood are so good for hair, too 🤘🏼 Plus, I mean, who doesn’t want their hair to look like they just got back from the beach?? Ariel would be proud.
